This was very personal painting for me, so I wanted to make it as good as possible. It's been a while in the making, after countless redraws I'm finally pretty satisfied how it looks. I tried many different colour schemes, more realistic autumn palettes etc but I kinda liked this better. More colorful backgrounds took the attention away from the girl. After seeing Corpse Bride few weeks ago I decided to made the whole image less realistic and more like a scene from animated Disney film. (look at the way I did the hair and sort of "over designed" stuff)
Anyway, I would love to hear what you people think of it! Tear it apart so I can come back tomorrow crying haha
